Hammond Family

Moving forward, one day at a time.

Monday was Lance's 2nd birthday. He started out the day with Mickey Mouse pancakes, which he tried to feed to Pluto.
I don't know if you can tell, but we made little cars out of milky ways and m&m's with a teddy graham put in. The kids got a kick out of it.
We went swimming, which was a bit of a bust; the kiddie pool was closed outside, the outdoor pool was freezing, the indoor pool was fine, but after 15 minutes we had to get out for swim lessons. We did go to Chucky Cheese for dinner. The kids had never been before and had a great time. Lance loved driving all the cars.

Lance's favorite present was his Tonka truck. Every boy needs one!
He knew how to blow out his candles, but got a bit close to them! The Thomas tent in the background was also a present. He and Lily cracked us up by getting in it and carrying it around like it was a real train.

Here you can see they were Cars cupcakes. He also got the Cars movie.
And the best part of his birthday was that we had family here to help us celebrate! It was so fun to have Mom here, and we're very sad to see her go on Friday.

Looks like a wonderful birthday!! Happy Birthday to Lance! My Dad introduced our kids to Chucky Cheese and they love it. They always ask him to take them back when we visit. Lance is so stinkin cute and getting so big!
